In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of top Film & Television applications on a unified platform in Qatar showed varied trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals interesting patterns in downloads and active user engagement.

CGV from CJ CGV Co.ltd maintained minimal activity with weekly downloads and active users remaining constant at 1 throughout the quarter.

Golden Screen Cinemas experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting at 2 and dropping to 1 by mid-quarter. However, its weekly active users stabilized at around 4 to 6, illustrating a consistent user base.

Reel Cinemas saw a more dynamic trend in downloads, peaking at 23 in early April and fluctuating throughout the quarter. Active users similarly fluctuated, reaching a high of 79 in early June before stabilizing around 61 by the end of June.

TicketNew: Book Movie Tickets showed a peak in downloads at 15 towards the end of April, while weekly active users reached 21 during the same period, followed by a gradual decline to 7 by the end of June.

TodayTix – Broadway Tickets led in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads remained steady, averaging around 50, with a slight increase to 58 in early June. Active users hovered around 240, demonstrating consistent engagement throughout the quarter.
